Indore, 22 October (HS). Under the direction of Collector Ashish Singh, to ease the traffic in the city, on Tuesday, action was taken to remove encroachments by streamlining various types of shops and vehicles from Bengali intersection to Bichauli Habsi Road. Action was taken to remove encroachments on footpaths and road side shadows, goods, hoardings etc. at around 52 shops. In this action, challan of Rs 56 thousand 600 was imposed and fine of 03 trucks was seized. During this period, about 30 shop operators were warned.

In this joint action of Revenue, Police and Municipal Corporation, challan action was taken against a total of 15 vehicles and Rs 7,500 was recovered as fine. Of these, challan action was taken against 01 bus, 06 cars and 08 two-wheelers. 10 vehicles were seized and sent to the police station.
