Wife and lover conspired together to murder
The most shocking aspect of the Indore murder case was that the wife of the deceased was found to be involved in the murder. Police investigation revealed that Naveen’s wife Bharti was in a love affair with Rahul Maratha, a resident of Ujjain. Due to this love affair, both of them together planned to remove Naveen from the way. Not only love affair, but also old enmity became a major reason for this murder. According to the police, Rahul wanted to take revenge from Naveen earlier also.
Murder was done by giving betel nut, shooter attacked
In the Indore murder case, it also came to light that betel nut was given to carry out the murder. Rahul gave the contract to murder Naveen to Mukesh Kumawat. After this Mukesh prepared Ajay and Shriram Balai as shooters for one lakh rupees.
Both the shooters did Reiki a day before the incident and understood Naveen’s daily routine. They came to know that he goes out to drink alcohol in the evening. Based on this information, they shot Naveen and killed him at around 8 pm.
CCTV footage provided great help
CCTV footage played an important role in solving the mystery of Indore murder case. That the police examined about 100 CCTV footages around the incident site. In one of the footage, two youths riding a bike were seen, one of whom fired at Naveen. On the basis of this footage, the police reached the accused and also traced their escape route, which led towards Ujjain.
Four arrested, main accused still absconding
In the Indore murder case, the police took swift action and arrested four accused. Bharti (wife), Mukesh, Ajay and Shriram Balai have been detained. The main accused in this entire case, Rahul Maratha, is still absconding and the police is busy searching for him. The arrested accused have revealed the entire conspiracy during interrogation, which helped the police to connect the entire link of the case.
Old rivalry also became the reason for murder
Indore murder case was not limited to just love affair, but old rivalry was also involved in it. According to the police, Naveen had earlier informed on Rahul in a case, due to which he was arrested. Rahul was already looking for an opportunity to take revenge for this. When he got the support of a love affair, he decided to carry out this conspiracy.
