Industry shaken by 21 percent salary increase after labor movement, Noida entrepreneurs reach Lucknow – big demand from government

Noida Industrial Crisis: labor movement And amidst the pressure of rising costs, Noida entrepreneurs reached Lucknow, where they met Industrial Development Commissioner Deepak Kumar and put forward their problems and demands. Entrepreneurs said that recently the wages of workers have increased by 21%, but when PF, ESI and bonus are added to it, the total cost has increased by 28–30%. Due to this, there has been huge economic pressure on the industries. In such a situation, entrepreneurs have demanded from the government to provide 15% subsidy and relief package of at least 12 months.

Apart from this, the condition of the industries is also weakening due to 60-70% rise in the prices of raw materials and non-increase in the prices of finished goods. Entrepreneurs say that the costs are increasing, but they are not able to increase the prices in the market, due to which the margins are continuously decreasing.

What demands did the entrepreneurs make?

  • The entrepreneurs demanded that PF (12.5%) and ESI (0.75%) should not be deducted from the salaries of the employees, so that they get more salary in their hands. He also made many proposals regarding facilities.
  • On the lines of Delhi model, about 50′ in the industrial areas of Noida and Greater NoidaAtal Kitchen‘ A demand was made to start it, so that the workers can get cheap and good food. Along with this, demand was also raised for availability of small gas cylinders and strict monitoring to stop black marketing of gas.
  • In view of the lack of health facilities, entrepreneurs also appealed to build new government hospitals or allot land in Noida and Greater Noida.
  • Apart from this, to simplify the administrative processes, a demand was also made to issue certificates without penalty to the units which do not obtain functional certificates without any information and by making changes in the building bylaws of industrial plots, a demand was also made to allow vacant space on three sides of the plot up to 1000 square meters.

Many officials including Noida Entrepreneurs Association President Vipin Kumar Malhan, Rakesh Kohli and Sudhir Srivastava were present in the meeting. According to the entrepreneurs, the Industrial Development Commissioner listened to all the demands seriously and considered them reasonable and assured of quick consideration and action.
