INDW vs NZW: Indian team registered a resounding victory in the series against New Zealand
Indian women's cricket team has won the three-match ODI series against New Zealand 2-1. India defeated New Zealand by 6 wickets in the third and deciding match on Tuesday. New Zealand set a target of 233 runs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, which India achieved by losing 4 wickets in 44.2 overs. Opener Smriti Mandhana scored a century and captain Harmanpreet Kaur scored a half-century.

India did not have a good start while chasing the target. Opener Shefali Verma was out after scoring 12 runs in 11 balls. She was caught out by Hannah Rowe in the fourth over. After this Smriti Mandhana took the lead along with Yastika Bhatia. Both of them made a partnership of 76 runs for the second wicket. Sophie Devine caught and bowled Yastika in the 21st over. Yastika Bhatia scored 35 runs in 49 balls. Mandhana made a strong partnership of 117 runs with captain Harmanpreet Kaur for the third wicket. Hana bowled Mandhana in the 40th over. He scored 100 runs in 122 balls with the help of 10 fours.
