Infosys CC sees strong 6.1% growth, 80 bps YoY operating margin expansion

Bengaluru (Karnataka)Bengaluru (Karnataka) [भारत]17 January: Infosys (NSE: INFY) (BSE: INFY), a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, delivered a strong and broad-based performance with $4,939 million in third-quarter revenue, up 1.7% sequentially. And in constant currency there is an increase of 6.1% year-on-year. Operating margin for the third quarter stood at 21.3%, an increase of 0.2% sequentially. Free cash flow for the third quarter was an all-time high at $1,263 million, up 90% year-over-year. TCV of large deal wins was $2.5 billion, with 63% net new growing 57% sequentially. The number of employees increased for the second consecutive quarter. Revenue for YTD Dec'24 increased 3.9% year-on-year in constant currency and reported terms. Operating margin stood at 21.2%, an increase of 0.3% year over year.

“Our strong revenue growth sequentially and broad-based year-on-year growth in a seasonally weak quarter, as well as strong operating parameters and margins, are a clear reflection of the success of our differentiated digital offerings, market positioning and key strategic initiatives We continue to strengthen our enterprise AI capabilities, particularly focused on generative AI, which is seeing increasing client traction,” said Salil Parekh, CEO and MD. Said. “Having another quarter of strong large deal wins and an improving deal pipeline gives us greater confidence moving forward,” he said. “We delivered another quarter of strong performance with segment revenue growth and operating margin expansion driving 11.4% YoY EPS growth in rupee terms. Our structured approach to operating margin expansion drove strong results in Q3, particularly primarily due to better realization and scale benefits,” said CFO Jayesh Sangharajka. “Our sharp focus on cash flow is reflected in the free cash conversion into net profit of 157% in the third quarter, with free cash generation for 9 months of FY25 exceeding the full FY24,” he said.
