Injured children remained scared due to high tension wire incident for the second day
Siddharth Nagar. Dozens of boys who were injured after getting hit by a high tension wire in Dhangadhiya village of Shohratgarh police station area of the district late on Saturday evening have returned home from the hospital. But there is still fear in them. The villagers had installed the idols of Goddess Lakshmi and Ganesh in the Shiva temple of the village for worship on the occasion of Diwali. Dozens of children sitting in a tractor trolley were injured by high tension wire while being taken for idol immersion. The injured children have returned from the hospital. But there is still fear in them. Twelve-year-old Vishnu's family is in mourning due to his death in the accident. The family and villagers of the deceased performed the last rites with tearful eyes on Sunday afternoon as per religious rituals at Brania Ghat of Banganga River near the village.
After the death of Vishnu and injuries to dozens of children due to getting hit by a high tension wire while taking the idol for immersion in Dhangadhiya village, the villagers immersed the idol of Goddess Lakshmi in a pit outside the village and returned home. The village is saddened by this incident. Deceased Vishnu's father Bajrangi and elder brother Vishal (17 years) had gone to Ludhiana, Punjab for livelihood. They are returning home after hearing the incident. Elder sister Ruby (15 years), Mata Buttu and Baba Ramdev are in bad condition after crying. Deceased Vishnu was the youngest and most promising child among his brothers and sisters.

The children like Ravi, Kishan, Vivek, Shiva, Rani etc. who were injured while carrying the idol in the tractor trolley, kept getting scared again and again during the day on Sunday, remembering the incident. Burn marks are still clearly visible on his body. While discussing with his friends, he kept saying that after being electrocuted, he got a shock and fell down from the trolley very fast. When and how did the accident happen suddenly? Couldn't understand anything. There was shouting all around. The entire village still bears the pain of remembering the incident.
