Innocent child was raped on the pretext of feeding her chow mein, fast-track court gave such punishment

Yamunanagar. In the case of rape of a seven-year-old girl on the pretext of feeding her chow mein in Haryana’s Yamunanagar in January this year, the fast-track court has sentenced the accused Mehtab to 20 years’ imprisonment and also imposed a fine of Rs 20,000. This information was given by District Deputy Attorney Sudhir Sindar. He told that the Special Public Prosecutor and District Deputy Attorney Sudhir Sighard, appointed by the government, advocated the case strongly and got the accused punished.

It is said that on January 30, the victim’s mother had gone to work and the child was playing in the street outside the house. Meanwhile, accused Mehtab reached there and took the innocent child with him towards the forest on the pretext of feeding him chow mein. There he raped the girl. When the mother returned home in the evening and did not find the child at home, she searched for her daughter. After a lot of searching, the girl was found scared on the roadside. When the mother asked, the child cried and told that a person had taken him to the forest and did something wrong.

After this, a case was immediately registered in the women’s police station. Investigating officer ASI Kamala Devi got the girl medically examined and after investigation, arrested the accused Mehtab and sent him to jail. After this, the charge sheet was prepared and filed in the court. Special Public Prosecutor and District Deputy Attorney Sudhir Sindar was appointed in this case by the government. He strongly presented all the evidence and witnesses before the court, on the basis of which the court found the accused guilty. And while giving the verdict, the court sentenced the accused Mehtab to 20 years imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 20,000.
