Murder of innocent child revealed in Delhi: Nephew was murdered by slitting his throat to teach aunt a lesson, police caught him

Within 48 hours, the police has solved the mystery of murder of innocent Luvkush (5 years) by slitting his throat in Ranhaula area of ​​outer district of Delhi. Police have arrested Lavkush’s aunt’s son in the murder case. The arrested accused has been identified as Ravi Kumar (22 years). Actually, there were frequent disputes between Lavkush’s father Pachu Mahato and mother Sarita Devi. Sarita used to leave the house on small issues. Ravi did not like this thing. On March 3, when Ravi’s aunt Sarita again quarreled and left the house, Ravi, with the intention of teaching her a lesson, kidnapped the youngest child and killed her.

At the behest of the accused, the police have recovered the knife used in the crime, the clothes worn at the time of the crime and other items. The accused told that he first strangulated Luvkush. Later, to confirm death, his throat was also cut with a knife. After this, he left the body in an under-construction house and left from there.

Outer District Police Deputy Commissioner Vikram Singh said that Ranhaula police station received information about the murder of 5 year old innocent Luvkush on the afternoon of March 5. As soon as the information was received, the police reached Mohan Garden area. There the police found Luvkush’s body. The dead body appeared to be a day or two old.

Lavkush lived with his family in Mohan Garden. In his family, apart from father Pachu Mahato, mother Sarita Devi, he has three siblings, grandfather Dhoopal Mahato and grandmother Binta Devi. Pachu’s sister’s three sons, Ravi Kumar, Sunny and Krishna, also lived and worked with their maternal grandparents (Dhupal Mahato and Binta Devi).

The police registered a case of murder and started investigation. Special staff, local police and special task force were deployed for investigation. During the investigation, the family had first raised suspicion of murder on mother Sarita. Actually, after a fight with Pachu, Sarita had left the house on the morning of 3 March.

When her location was traced, she was found in Chhapra, Bihar. A team was sent to Chapra. When the police reached there and interrogated Sarita, she clearly denied killing her son. The second team worked on technical surveillance and the help of local intelligence was taken. Later the clue of the accused was found.

Police examined the CCTV footage of March 3. At around 3:30, Lavkush was seen with his aunt’s son Ravi Kumar. After this Lavkush was nowhere to be seen. When the police interrogated Ravi on the basis of suspicion, he broke down and confessed to the murder.

The accused said that he took this step to teach his aunt a lesson. He felt that his aunt was cheating on his uncle. To teach his aunt a lesson, he planned to murder her youngest son and carried out the crime. Later he returned home. During this time the family kept searching for the innocent child. The police is interrogating the accused and investigating the matter further.
