It was a star-studded reception for newlyweds Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda on March 4 in Hyderabad. Rashmika and Vijay tied the knot on February 26, 2026, at the pristine palace of Udaipur.
The reception of Virosh saw the who’s who of Bollywood and South Indian cinema arrive in their festive best, making it a night filled with couture moments, traditional elegance, and plenty of sparkle.
Rashmika and Vijay’s reception was graced by several celebrities, including Neena Gupta, Ram Charan, Upasana Kamineni, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Naga Chaitanya, Kriti Sanon, Dinesh Vijan, Karan Johar, Rhea Chakraborty, Sukumar, Thabitha Bandreddi, Nag Ashwin, Naveen Polishetty, Nani, Dheekshith Shetty, Chiranjeevi, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Boyapati Srinu, Ravi Teja, as well as Mahesh. Babu’s wife Namrata Shirodkar and their daughter Sitara. Varsha Bollamma also attended the grand occasion.
From shimmering lehengas to regal sarees and sharp bandhgala looks, the reception was a visual feast of fashion.
D.K. Shivakumar, Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, attended the wedding reception on Wednesday evening. Sharing a photo with Rashmika and Vijay, Shivakumar wrote, “Glad to attend the wedding reception of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna and personally convey my best wishes to the couple. Wishing them a lifetime of happiness and togetherness as they begin this new chapter together.”
Kriti Sanon arrived in an exquisite black and silver lehenga by Shantanu and Nikhil that instantly grabbed attention. Her ensemble, heavily adorned with rhinestones and intricate embellishments, was paired with traditional jhumkas, a sleek black waist belt that cinched the silhouette, and a flowing black dupatta. She also posed with Rashmika and Vijay. Rashmika and Kriti will be seen together in Cocktail 2with promotions set to begin soon.
Mrunal Thakur chose a classic navy blue saree for the evening, highlighted by a floral-embroidered blouse, complemented with dangling earrings and a sleek wristwatch. Karan Johar wore an off-white bandhgala kurta paired with black trousers, accessorised with a bold animal-shaped brooch and his signature sleek glasses.
Sreeleela exuded royal charm in a regal green Anarkali set, with flowing embroidery elevated by an emerald and gold choker paired with matching earrings for an opulent finish.
The Akkineni family, led by Nagarjuna, joined the celebrations, along with Daggubati Venkatesh, Namrata Shirodkar, and her daughter Sitara Ghattamaneni, among others. Sobhita Dhulipala was notably absent.
Allu Arjun wore a multi-colored jacket with a kurta-pyjama and even greeted the media before entering. Neena Gupta looked stunning in a white saree.

For the special occasion, Rashmika wore a traditional red saree with a gold and black border, while Vijay opted for a simple white kurta and vesti.
Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are set to work together in Rahul Sankrityan’s Ranabaali.
