Inspirational journey from struggle to success

Mumbai: Trupti Dimri, born in Garhwal, Uttarakhand, is celebrating her birthday today on 23 February 1994. This actress, who was once seen in small roles, has today become one of the major stars of Hindi cinema. His father, Dinesh Dimri, worked for Air India, leading the family to settle in Delhi. Her mother, Meenakshi Dimri, maintained an environment of art and culture in the family which inspired Tripti to pursue her acting journey.

Trupti’s father had been a Ramleela artiste and used to organize Dussehra celebrations every year. Trupti got inspiration for acting due to the environment of cultural activities at home since childhood. She completed her graduation degree in Sociology while studying at Sri Aurobindo College, Delhi, when her desire to move towards the glamor world became stronger.

Journey from Santoor Advertisement to Films

After stepping into modeling, Trupti got an opportunity to audition through an agency. She started her career with Santoor soap advertisements, which gave her recognition and then moved towards the film industry. He learned the nuances of acting and took even small opportunities seriously, which became the foundation of his career.

Got recognition from Sridevi’s last film

Trupti started her career with late actress Sridevi’s last film “Mom”. His role in this film was small, but it proved to be an important opportunity for him. After this, in 2018, she debuted as a lead actress with the film “Poster Boys”, although this film did not give her the huge success she had dreamed of.

The film “Lail Majnu” released in the year 2018 proved to be a turning point in his career. The shooting of this film took place in the beautiful and challenging valleys of Kashmir. Trupti told in an interview that during the shooting she had to work for 20 hours a day, the weather of which was very cold and difficult. At times she would cry and wonder if she was on the right path. The team ate food from local people’s homes, which was a new and challenging experience for them. But this film further strengthened his determination towards acting.
