Insta360 Mic Pro Launched: Wireless Microphone System with E-link Display
The Insta360 Mic Pro was officially released globally on May 19, 2026. It is a new professional wireless microphone system that is designed to improve recording quality and also serves as a noticeably more ambitious system for interviews, trade show videos, livestreams, multi-camera productions, and all situations in which one would rather have too much audio safety than too little.
The Insta360 Mic Pro is not just another typical wireless microphone. It boasts an industry-first customizable E-link display, a 3-mic array with selectable polar patterns, 32-bit float internal recording, and direct Bluetooth connectivity to compatible Insta360 cameras. The system is therefore aimed not only at classic vloggers, but also at small production teams, journalists, trade fair reporters, podcasters, streamers, and video makers who want to cover as many scenarios as possible with as little equipment as possible. It mainly benefits creators who seek premium audio quality for their work.

How to connect the Insta360 Mic Pro to your devices?
Connecting the Insta360 Mic Pro to devices is quite straightforward.
For the iPhone, the user can enter Bluetooth pairing mode using the side button menu on the transmitter (TX). Then the user has to go to their phone’s Settings, then click on Bluetooth, wait for the Mic Pro TX to appear, then tap to pair. The same is done for Android devices, too.
Other than that, a user with an iPhone can also plug the receiver into the phone using a Lightning or USB-C adapter, then turn on both the receiver and transmitter, and they will connect automatically. Similarly, for Android, one has to connect the receiver to the device using the included Type-C OTG cable or directly into the phone’s charging port.
For DSLR and Mirrorless Cameras, the user has to attach the receiver to the camera’s cold shoe mount and then connect the 3.5mm TRS to TRS cable from the receiver’s audio output into the camera’s microphone jack. Then the user has to turn on the receiver and the microphone transmitter.
