Instagram has introduced a new feature for creators, making it easier and more fun for them to share their profiles with others. They can now create two-way digital cards on the Meta-owned social media platform. This feature comes after Meta recently introduced the 'Song on Profile' feature, which allows users to add a song to their profile.

According to Instagram's blog, the new Profile Card gives users the option to create more personalized and animated digital cards that they can share with others. Apart from the QR code, this card has options to add bio information, links, music that reflects personality and other content. Users can change the background color, and add selfies or custom emojis as the background.
One side of this card is shareable, while the other side has a QR code that others can scan to visit the profile. The company says this can be a quick way for creators to share their profiles for easier collaboration with brands. Although the option to share profile cards was already available on Instagram, it was limited to QR codes only. Now users can also share their interest or favorite music.

To do this, the user has to go to the profile section of Instagram and tap on the 'Share Profile' option. They can then add the desired information by selecting the edit icon. Profile cards can be shared on other platforms besides Instagram Stories.
