How to appear offline even when you are online

It’s easy to hide your active status on Instagram. Follow these steps:

Open the Instagram app on your phone.

Go to your profile.

Tap on the three lines (menu) in the top right corner.

Select Settings and Activity.

Go to Messages and Story Replies.

Find the Show Activity Status option.

Turn it off.

Once this option is disabled, your active status will be hidden, and others will not be able to see when you are online.

If you want to show your activity status again, you can turn the option back on at any time from the same Settings menu.
