The visibility of posts containing abusive language or unsafe behavior will be reduced.
Even if teens themselves actively seek out such content, the platform’s algorithms will limit or hide it.
These security settings will be turned on automatically for users under 18 years of age.
Most importantly, teens can’t change these settings on their own—any changes require parental approval.
Introduction of “Limited Content” feature
One of the highlights of this update is the new “Limited Content” setting. This feature, which is turned on by default for underage users, not only filters harmful content but also restricts conversations with strangers.
