On the instructions of Assistant Commissioner and Assistant Registrar Sonbhadra Devendra Kumar Singh, ADCO Robertsganj Awadhesh Kumar Singh inspected the wheat purchasing centers opened in BPAX Ramgarh and Sodha on Monday. Till now 1512.50 quintals have been purchased in Sodha. Pradeep Singh’s wheat was being weighed on the spot. Center in-charge Amit Singh said that as of now the delivery is zero.
ADCO Robertsganj directed the center in-charge to contact the transport contractor and ensure delivery. So far, 1884.50 quintals have been purchased at the Ramgarh centre. Mrityunjay Mishra’s wheat was being weighed on the spot. Center in-charge Amit Kumar Gautam said that 200 quintals of wheat has been delivered so far. Shade and drinking water facilities were found available for the farmers at both the centres.
ADCO Robertsganj directed the center in-charges to ensure that purchases are made as per the purchasing policy by being present at the center every day. He further said that they should not forget to encourage the farmers coming to the center for farmer registration. During the inspection, Secretary Amit Kumar Gautam, Amit Singh, Shivkumar, Rajkumar, Kamlesh etc. were present.
