Incorporation of innovation, efficiency and excellence in administration is the cornerstone of good governance: CM Yogi
Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday inaugurated the new campus of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Uttar Pradesh Academy of Administration and Management (RUPAAM), built at a cost of more than ₹464 crore, in Lucknow. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that inclusion of innovation, efficiency and excellence in administration is the cornerstone of good governance. He called upon the officers and employees to work with dedication, transparency and accountability while giving top priority to national interest and public service.

The Chief Minister said that, this academy should be developed as India’s leading school of public leadership. This institute will play an important role in realizing the concept of Knowledge to Development, Development to Public Trust and Public Trust to Nation Building. The mentality of going it alone or weakening the team cannot yield good results. Teamwork, positive thinking and innovation are the basis of success. Administrative officers need to continuously learn, adopt technology based good governance, sensitive administration and innovation.
There should be a spirit of innovation and excellence in administration. If every officer and employee works with dedication towards national interest and public service, then no one can stop Uttar Pradesh from taking it to new heights of good governance, excellent administration and development.

He further said that the bureaucracy of Uttar Pradesh is no longer a victim of policy paralysis, but is ready to run with full speed to achieve the goals of a developed Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh will become the foundation stone of developed India and for this every village, town and ward of the state will have to be made self-reliant. Political leadership can only give the vision, but the administrative machinery has the full power to implement it. Therefore, training, capacity building and positive work culture are extremely important.
