Anand, March 10, 2026 – Anand Agricultural UniversityInter-College and Inter-Polytechnic Athletic Meet at Anand 2025–26 Ta. On February 27 and 28, 2026 Sports ComplexA.C.U., Anand Dr. K. B. Kathiriya. It was organized enthusiastically and successfully under the guidance of Honorable Vice-Chancellor, AIIMS, Anand. This prestigious sports festival was jointly organized by the College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Godhra and Agricultural Polytechnic, Vaso.

A large number of players from a total of eight colleges and five polytechnics of the university participated enthusiastically in the two-day athletic meet. The competitions included 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 800 m, 1500 m. Various track and field events like running, relay race, high jump, long jump, shot put and discus throw were organised. The entire competition was completed with enthusiasm, sportsmanship and healthy competition.
In the inaugural ceremony held on February 27, 2026, B. A. Agriculture College, A.K.U., Anandana Acharya and Dean Dr. S. R. Patel was present as the chairman. In his presidential address, he stressed the importance of sports in the all-round development of students.
The closing ceremony and prize distribution ceremony was organized on 28th February, 2026 by Dr., Director of Student Welfare, AKU, Anand. D. H. Patel was made the chairman. On this occasion, the winning and runner-up teams in various sports competitions held during the year 2025–26 were honored with trophies and prizes.
On this occasion, professors and deans of various colleges, professors of polytechnics, S.R.C. Chairman, team managers and a large number of students were present.

The entire athletic meet was successfully organized by Dr. Acharya and Dean of College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Godharana. Shivmurthy Srivastava and Agriculture Polytechnic, Vasona Acharya Dr. B. C. It was done under the guidance of Patel and the chairman of the student union of both the colleges, Dr. R. C. Salunkhe and Dr. P. S. The program was successfully completed with the combined efforts of the Panchal and Planning Committee members and volunteers. This athletic meet promoted unity, discipline, sportsmanship and healthy competitiveness among the students and helped them in achieving their goals at the university level. sportsMade the atmosphere stronger.
