It has been raining intermittently for two days in the capital Lucknow. It rained in many areas in the morning. At some places it was heavy and at other places it was just a shower. By afternoon there was light sunshine and the clouds dispersed a bit. It started raining again in the afternoon. The weather became pleasant due to cool winds. There was waterlogging in many areas and drains also got choked. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for both today and tomorrow.
Lucknow has received 10.5 mm rain in the last 24 hours. If we talk about the entire month, there has been 4 mm less rainfall than the average in monsoon. There was more than average rainfall in August, while in June-July, twice the monsoon average rainfall was recorded. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature has decreased by 8 degrees Celsius. There will be a drop in temperature today and tomorrow. The maximum temperature on Sunday will be around 29 degrees and minimum 23 degrees Celsius.
