Investing $100 billion, building AI and green-energy infrastructure: Jeet Adani
Desk : Jeet Adani, director of Adani Defense and Aerospace, said in a statement that the Adani Group will invest $100 billion to build a sovereign, green-energy-powered AI infrastructure platform for India. This investment will not be limited to just data center expansion, but will be a major step towards building a 5-gigawatt, $250 billion integrated energy-and-compute ecosystem that aims to drive India’s intelligence revolution.

Jeet Adani said, “Energy sovereignty, compute and cloud sovereignty and services sovereignty are not technicalities, they are the foundation of modern nationalism. AI must become a force multiplier for Indian citizens before it becomes a margin multiplier for others. This is not protectionism, this is preparation. This is not isolation, this is strategic maturity.”

Along with this, Adani also mentioned the main question facing India: “Will India import intelligence, or architect it? Will we consume productivity or create it? Will we plug into someone else’s system or create our own? The time to ask this is over.”

He further said, “India is not moving to dominate to grow. It is moving to stabilize. It is moving to support a world that is searching for balance. It is moving to build systems that are inclusive and sustainable. And when India builds technology, it does not build for exclusion or control – it builds for inclusion. But, in this geopolitically charged century, I believe that without capability “Inclusion is weakness, and capability without sovereignty is foreign dependence.”
This statement by Adani shows that India aims to become a global leader in the field of AI, but at the same time is moving towards an inclusive and sustainable future while maintaining its sovereignty and independence.
