Invincible Season 4 Finale Trailer Teases Where Thragg & Viltrumites Went
The finale of Invincible Season 4 premieres this week, and a newly released trailer answers a key question left by the penultimate episode: where did Thragg and the remaining In Vildrums go? The teaser confirms that the vengeful Grand Regent has set his sights on Earth.
Invincible Season 4 finale trailer shows Mark’s journey to Earth
The official Invincible social media accounts released a 30-second preview for the season finale, which debuts on Wednesday, April 22, at 3:00 a.m. ET. The trailer picks up after the catastrophic battle that resulted in the destruction of Viltrum, leaving the fate of its surviving warriors uncertain.
The clip centers on a conversation between Mark Grayson and his father, Nolan, as they travel through space. A visibly anxious Mark expresses concern about the situation on Earth, fearing what Thragg and the remaining Viltrumites might do next.
Nolan tries to calm him, saying, “We’re not even sure Thragg’s there.” However, Mark remains unconvinced, believing the Viltrumites are driven by revenge for what the Coalition did to their home planet.
The trailer then reinforces Mark’s fears with its closing moments. The final shot shows a group of Viltrumites, including Grand Regent Thragg, looking down on Earth. The scene strongly suggests they are preparing to infiltrate the planet as part of a calculated revenge strategy rather than launching an immediate large-scale attack.
The official synopsis highlights the growing tension: “While the world recovers from catastrophe, a changed Mark fights to protect his home and the people he loves, setting him on a collision course with a threat that could alter the fate of humanity forever.”
With Mark and Nolan still days away from Earth, the trailer suggests that Cecil and the Guardians of the Globe must confront the looming threat on their own without immediate backup support.
