Indian Oil Corporation Limited has announced recruitment for Technician, Trade and Graduate Apprentice posts (IOCL Recruitment 2026). For which the application process will start from March 2. The total number of vacant posts is 144. The vacancy is divided into different states and union territories. A total of 73 posts are vacant in West Bengal. There are 19 vacancies in Bihar, 14 in Odisha, 10 in Jharkhand, three in Sikkim, five in Nagaland, five in Manipur, two in Arunachal Pradesh and eight in Andaman Nicobar Islands. There will be no fee of any kind for applying.
Candidates are advised to register for Trade Apprentice posts by visiting the National Apprenticeship Portal. Whereas for Technician and Graduate Apprentice posts, candidates will have to go to NATS portal and register their application.
Who can fill the form?
To apply for Trade Apprentice post, 10th passed candidates must have 2 year ITI certificate in the relevant field from an institute recognized by NCVT or SCVT. To apply for the post of Data Entry Operator, it is mandatory for the candidates to have passed 12th with 50% marks. Graduate candidates with 50% marks in any field can apply for the post of Graduate Apprentice.
To apply for Technician Apprentice post, it is mandatory for candidates to have 3 year diploma in relevant field with 50% marks. The eligibility date for Technician and Graduate Apprentice should be between April 1, 2022 to February 28, 2026. Whereas the eligibility date for the post of Trade Apprentice should be between 1 April 2021 to 28 February 2026. Age limit is minimum 18 years. The maximum age limit has been fixed at 24 years.
Selection will be like this
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit entered in the application. No written examination or interview will be conducted. On the basis of merit list candidates will be invited for document verification. After this a medical fitness test will be conducted. The duration of training will be 1 year.
