According to HK01since marrying Sze, Ng has become a frequent presence at high-profile social events, attends shows staged by leading international luxury brands, and has appeared on the covers of several magazines. In October, she was named a brand ambassador for Ann Andelman, a French fashion brand, promoting what the label describes as an “urban avant-garde” style.

Despite becoming a billionaire’s wife, Ng has not stepped away from professional pursuits. In recent years, she has been highly active on Chinese social media platforms, where she regularly shares beauty tips and insights into her daily life. Since early this year, she has expanded into livestream e-commerce, quickly attracting attention with her refined aesthetic sense and engaging on-screen presence.

HK01 reported that Ng’s first livestream sales session in September set a record, achieving a gross merchandise value of 70 million yuan (US$9.6 million). A second livestream later surpassed 150 million yuan in sales. The event featured appearances by celebrities Ma Tianyu án Charmaine Sheh, as well as socialite Cheng Xiaoyue, while Sze also joined to show his support.

During the livestream, Ng and her team promoted skincare products while sharing beauty and skincare routines. The session ran continuously from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. the following day. Sales reached 30 million yuan in the first hour alone, with 220,000 products sold and total viewership exceeding 1.64 million. The stream attracted more than 10,000 viewers within five minutes of going live, peaked at 35,000 concurrent viewers, and still retained nearly 10,000 viewers by the end.

The strong performance propelled Ng to the top of Xiaohongshu’s daily seller rankings. Media outlets dubbed her a “new-generation revenue queen” and a “symbol of success for Hong Kong women,” while Weibo users praised her “calm yet charismatic presence,” “tall, slender figure,” and “lively, natural personality.”

Her rise has led some observers to say her life “turned a new page” after marriage. Before marrying Sze, Ng mainly played supporting roles in TVB productions and maintained a relatively low-profile career.

In interviews, Ng has acknowledged the changes that came with marriage but emphasized that she has retained her sense of self. She said she does not wish to be confined to traditional expectations of being a devoted wife or ideal mother, advocating instead the principle of “being myself first, before taking on other roles.”

Ng, 32, entered the entertainment industry in 2010 and made her screen debut the following year.

Sze, 36, is a vice president at a digital payment platform and a graduate of George Washington University in the U.S. Chinese media report that his family has an estimated net worth of HK$10 billion (US$1.28 billion).

The couple announced their relationship in 2022 and are believed to have begun dating in 2019. Sze proposed to Ng in 2023 with a large bouquet of roses, a luxury car and a diamond ring. They married last year in a ceremony held at an ancient castle in Italy.
