Let us tell you that as a marquee player, KL Rahul had entered the auction at a base price of Rs 2 crore. Defending champion KKR bid for them and RCB also jumped into the fray. There was a competition between RCB and KKR to get Rahul. Delhi also showed interest in Rahul and joined the bid along with KKR. Delhi made a bid of Rs 11.50 crore for Rahul, but KKR was also not ready to back down. Delhi made a bid of Rs 12 crore for Rahul, but KKR backed out. Meanwhile, CSK jumped into the bidding and kept bidding for Rahul. Delhi bid Rs 14 crore and Lucknow did not use RTM for Rahul.
