Full list of players with Rs 2 crore base price

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the dates and venue for the IPL 2025 mega auction, and more than 1,500 players have registered.

The IPL 2025 mega players auction will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on November 24 and 25, the BCCI said in a press release on Tuesday (November 5).

“The IPL player registration officially closed on November 4, 2024, with an impressive total of 1,574 players (1,165 Indian and 409 overseas) signing up to be part of the mega TATA IPL 2025 Player Auction, which will be held over two days on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia,” it said.

The list includes 320 capped players, 1,224 uncapped players, and 30 players from Associate Nations.

A total of 25 players have registered for the IPL 2025 auction in the top bracket of Rs 2 crore base price. The list includes 23 Indians and two overseas cricketers.

With franchises having released some of the big names in T20 cricket, they are expected to breach the Rs 20 crore mark in the IPL 2025 auction. All eyes will be on wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant, who was not retained by Delhi Capitals (DC).

IPL’s most expensive player Mitchell Starc of Australia, is again in the auction pool after Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) released him. In IPL 2024 auction, he went for a record Rs 24.50 crore.
