New Delhi. BCCI announced the date of IPL auction on Tuesday. The mega auction will be held on 24 and 25 November in Jeddah. This time there will be bidding for a total of 1,574 players. Capped and uncapped players from many countries will be bought in the auction. Let us tell you that the players who registered for the mega auction include 1,165 Indian and 409 foreign players. The total players to register include 320 capped and 1,224 uncapped players.

Only 204 players will be bought in this mega auction for IPL 2025. Let us tell you that all the 10 teams of IPL have a total of 204 slots vacant, to fill which the teams will bid. In such a situation, out of the total 1,574 players who have registered, only 204 players will be purchased. It is known that a franchise can buy a maximum of 25 players only.

How many capped and uncapped players?
The total players to register include 320 capped and 1,224 uncapped players. Of the 320 capped players, 48 are Indians and 272 are international players. Apart from this, the 1,224 uncapped players include 152 players who were part of the IPL last season also. Apart from this, 965 other uncapped Indians are included.
