During this period, all 10 teams spent a total of Rs 467.95 crore. Many things happened in the auction which left everyone shocked. Before the auction, everyone was speculating whether Rishabh Pant would be bought by RCB or Chennai Super Kings, but contrary to these speculations, Lucknow Super Giants bought him for Rs 27 crore. After which he not only remained the most expensive among Indian players but also became the most expensive player in IPL history. Jos Buttler has been the most expensive among foreign players. Butler was bought by Gujarat for Rs 15.75 crore.
