IPL 2025 Mega Auction: The list of players for the IPL 2025 auction has been revealed. BCCI has announced this on Friday. A total of 574 players will be included in the auction to be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from 24 to 25 November. Of the 574 players, 366 are Indians and 208 are foreigners, including 3 players from associate countries.
This list includes foreign players like James Anderson, Cameron Green, Jos Buttler, Kagiso Rabada. Indian cricketers including KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer will also be included in the auction. The IPL 2025 auction will feature 318 Indian uncapped players and 12 uncapped foreign players. There are 204 slots vacant for IPL teams, of which 70 slots are for foreign players. Punjab Kings (PBKS) will enter the IPL 2025 auction with the highest salary purse.

37 players from England are included in the mega auction. Which includes the oldest player James Anderson. Anderson has come to auction after a long time. Anderson participated in the IPL auction for the first time in 2012, when he was not bought by any team. Anderson is the highest wicket-taker fast bowler in the history of Test cricket, having taken a record 704 wickets at an average of 26.45 in his illustrious career. Anderson has kept his base price at Rs 1.25 crore in the mega auction.
