Omkar Salvi will have a big responsibility

Bowling has always been a weak link for the RCB team. In such a situation, it will be a big challenge for Omkar Salvi to make Bengaluru's bowling attack more lively in the upcoming IPL season. Salvi joined the Mumbai team as the head coach in the year 2023-24. Under his leadership, Mumbai won the Ranji Trophy title for the 42nd time. Salvi was then retained as the head coach for the next season and under his supervision, Mumbai also won the Irani Cup.

RCB in search of first title

Royal Challengers Bangalore will be looking for their first title in IPL 2025. In the 17 seasons played so far, the team has not been able to win the IPL trophy even once. The team last reached the final in 2016, but lost to RCB Sunrisers Hyderabad in the title match. Last season, the team had to exit the tournament after losing the eliminator match.
