In the RCB camp, coach Omkar Salvi, who led Mumbai to the Ranji Trophy title under his supervision, has been selected as the fast bowling coach. Under his leadership, Omkar made Mumbai champion in Ranji and then Irani Cup.
RCB has got a new bowling coach
Royal Challengers Bangalore have added a new bowling coach to their team for IPL 2025. RCB has included Omkar Salvi in the team for the upcoming season. When Omkar was the coach, the Mumbai team won the Ranji Trophy title. Along with this, the team's performance in the Irani Cup was also strong and the team was successful in winning the second consecutive title. Omkar will be seen as a coach in IPL for the second time. Before this he was the assistant bowling coach of defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders. According to media reports, Omkar Salvi will join the RCB team in March after the end of the domestic season. Salvi's contract with Mumbai Cricket Association will end in the last week of March.
