This time the mega auction is taking place in Jeddah city of Saudi Arabia. Former England fast bowler James Anderson has registered himself for the mega auction after 13 years. Anderson last participated in the 2012 auction but at that time the player remained unsold. Now after retiring from international cricket, James Anderson told why he wants to play IPL.
Why does Anderson want to play IPL?
Till date James Anderson has never played in IPL. But now this veteran fast bowler has decided to play IPL. Regarding this, Anderson told BBC Radio 4 Today, “There is still something inside me that I feel I can still play. I have never played IPL; “I’ve never experienced that, and I think for a lot of reasons I feel like I have a lot more to offer as a player.”

Last T20 match was played in 2009
James Anderson was playing Test cricket for England for a long time. His career in T20 format has not been very long. He played 19 T20 matches for England in his career. In which he had 18 wickets in his name. Apart from this, Anderson played his last T20 match against South Africa in the year 2009.

James Anderson has played cricket for England for a long time. In the year 2003, Anderson made his debut in Test cricket for England. He played 188 test matches in his career. While bowling in 350 innings, Anderson had taken 704 wickets.
