CSK IPL Mock Auction: The heartbeats of cricket fans have increased regarding the mini auction of IPL 2026 season. This mini auction will be held on December 16 at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

This time the auction list includes more than 350 players, out of which ten franchise teams together will be able to buy a maximum of 77 players. Due to the presence of Indian and foreign players, a strong competition is expected in the auction this time too.

CSK did a big feat before the auction

Ahead of the actual auction, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have given a glimpse of their strategy. In a mock auction organized by Star Sports, former Indian batsman Suresh Raina represented CSK. In this mock auction, Raina clearly gave priority to the bowling department, and spent a total of Rs 20 crore on the three main bowlers.

In the mock auction, Chennai Super Kings made the highest bid on leg-spinner Rahul Chahar. Raina bought him for the team for Rs 10 crore. After this, a bid of Rs 7.50 crore was made for South African fast bowler Enrique Norkia. CSK also tried to strengthen their pace attack by buying young Indian fast bowler Shivam Mavi for Rs 2.50 crore.
