Afghanistan’s Wahidullah Zadran is the youngest player to register for the IPL 2026 mini-auctionentering the pool at just 18 years of age. Born on 15 November 2007Zadran has already made a name for himself in age-group cricket with his skillful off-break bowling.
Zadran represents the Afghanistan U-19 team and has been one of their standout performers. In the recent Afghanistan U-19 vs Bangladesh U-19 series, he picked up 11 wickets in four inningsshowcasing his ability to extract turn and control games through the middle overs. His rise accelerated further during the Shpageeza T20 League 2025where he impressed with six wickets in three inningsdrawing attention from scouts.
For the IPL 2026 mini-auction, Wahidullah Zadran has listed himself at a base price of Rs 30 lakhentering as an uncapped overseas player with strong developmental upside.
