Just hours after the team’s victory, BCCI has imposed a heavy fine on captain Shreyas Iyer. Punjab won the match played at the Maharaja Yadvinder Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, but ignoring the rules of the game proved costly for the captain.
Why did Shreyas Iyer get this punishment?
According to the official statement issued by BCCI, Shreyas Iyer Slow Over-rate Has been found guilty.
