Hospice. Delhi Capitals won the toss and decided to bowl first against Punjab Kings in the 55th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on Monday. Here today Delhi Capitals captain Akshar Patel said that it is right to win the toss. We could not capitalize on some important moments but overall we played good cricket. We are not thinking too much about the equation and are looking to focus on our performance. We have decided to bowl so that we can have an idea of the pitch.
There are five changes in the team. Porel, Parakh, Miller, Nabi and Madhav Tiwari are playing. Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer said that we just want to concentrate on what we are doing in the season and try to back our instincts. This is one aspect in which we are lagging behind in the last few matches. There are ups and downs in this tournament. Lockie Ferguson is not playing and has been replaced by Ben Dwarschwiss.
