Ahmedabad. Gujarat Titans won the toss and decided to bowl first against Punjab Kings in the 46th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on Sunday. Today here Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill won the toss and decided to bowl first. After the toss, Gill said that we have been chasing well in the last few matches and our bowling is also performing very well. For this reason we have decided to bowl first. On this pitch, fast bowlers can get help in the beginning.
IPL is a long tournament and hence it is important to peak at the right time and that is what we are doing. Our best game is yet to come. Hopefully this will be our best game. There has been a change and Sindhu is making her debut today. Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer said that the pitch looks good. There is grass on the pitch and due to it being a black soil pitch, there may be a little bounce. We have played on this pitch before. Vijaykumar Vaishak and Xavier Bartlett have come in to bowl.
