Place given to 21 year old player: Aakash Chopra has selected 21-year-old wicketkeeper batsman Kumar Kushagra, who was retained by GT for Rs 65 lakh before the auction, for the number-4 position in the XI of Gujarat Titans. Know that this young player has experience of 32 T20 matches in which he scored 676 runs at a strike rate of around 145. He has played only 4 matches in IPL so far. Let us tell you that before this he was a part of Delhi Capitals in the year 2024 and then he was bought by DC in the auction for Rs 7 crore 20 lakh.

Aakash Chopra has selected Kumar Kushagra for the playing eleven of Gujarat Titans, keeping him ahead of experienced players like Shahrukh Khan and Anuj Rawat.

All-rounder worth Rs 7 crore not given place: In the IPL 2026 auction, Gujarat Titans spent the most to buy West Indies’ tall bowling all-rounder Jason Holder, for whom they spent Rs 7 crore. However, Jason Holder is the only one who has not got a place in the XI selected for Aakash Chopra’s Gujraj Titans. Let us tell you that 34 year old Jason Holder has played 342 T20 matches so far in which he has taken a total of 365 wickets and scored 3,325 runs.
