Expectations of ticket refund disappointing

There is no news of relief for the fans. According to the rules of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), if even a single ball is played in the match, the ticket money is not refunded to any spectator. In the Kolkata-Punjab match, 3.4 overs i.e. 22 balls were played. For this reason, the spectators present in the stadium will not get any money for their tickets.

BCCI rules clear

BCCI announces the playing conditions and ticket rules every year before the start of the IPL season. It has been made clear in these rules that refund will be given only for those matches in which not a single ball is played. Apart from this, only the ticket price is returned in the refund, it does not include GST or other taxes.
