Kolkata. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) decided to bowl first against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the sixth match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Thursday. Today here, Kolkata Knight Riders captain Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and decided to bowl first.
He said that there is always scope for improvement in the team but many positives have also emerged. We don’t usually see this much grass on this pitch. It has also rained and that is why we want to bowl. I don’t think there will be dew here.
Cameron Green is trying his best and will start bowling soon. We are going with the same team that played in the last match. Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Ishan Kishan said that if we had won the toss, we would have bowled.
However, while batting first, we will have to play according to each ball. We have to focus on our basics. Even if we are not in a good position, we have to remain calm and focus on our execution. There has been one change in our team for this match. Shivang is playing today because he is a wicket-taking bowler. He bowled well in the nets and that is why we are giving him a chance.
