Kolkata Knight Riders got the replacement of Harshit Rana, this star Indian bowler entered KKR.

IPL 2026: IPL 2026 is going to start from March 28. Many teams have suffered setbacks before this. In fact, many players are out of the entire IPL 2026 season due to injuries. Now only 3 days are left for the tournament to start. Before this, all the teams are announcing the replacement of injured players. Meanwhile, Kolkata Knight Riders have also announced the replacement of Harshit Rana. KKR has included Navdeep Saini in the team.

Navdeep Saini replaced Harshit Rana

Kolkata Knight Riders has replaced Navdeep Saini in the team in place of Harshit Rana. According to reports, Navdeep Saini, Akash Madhwal, Sirmanjeet Singh, Sandeep Warrier and KM Asif were called for trial. Out of these 5, KKR has selected Navdeep Saini as the replacement for Harshit Rana. Saini has a lot of experience in IPL. He made his IPL debut in 2019 for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Navdeep Saini played 3 seasons for RCB. After this he became a part of Rajasthan Royals.

Navdeep Saini has taken a total of 23 wickets while playing in 32 matches of IPL. However, he has not played this league since IPL 2023. Now it remains to be seen how Navdeep Saini performs in Kolkata Knight Riders.

How did Harshit Rana get injured?

Harshit Rana got injured before the start of T20 World Cup 2026. Actually, Harshit got injured during the practice match of T20 World Cup against South Africa. While bowling, he felt pain in his right knee, after which he had to leave the field. According to reports, Harshit Rana suffered a serious injury, for which he had to undergo surgery. For this reason he was out of T20 World Cup 2026. Now Harshit is out of IPL 2026 also. However, no official information has been revealed regarding the condition of his injury. Harshit Rana is one of the most important bowlers of KKR. His exclusion was a big blow for KKR. Harshit has taken a total of 40 wickets in his name while playing 34 matches in IPL.

Gujarat Titans have also announced the replacement of fast bowler Prithvi Raj Yara. Kulwant Khejroliya has replaced Prithvi Raj Yara in Gujarat Titans. Prithvi Raj Yara is also injured. Kulwant Khejroliya has taken 6 wickets so far in IPL. He has played for Gujarat Titans, Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
