IPL 2026: Plan ready to stop Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Pujara gave special mantra to Arshdeep Singh

Rajasthan Royals are under pressure after two consecutive defeats. In the team’s batting, once again Vaibhav Suryavanshi will be expected to get a fast start. Vaibhav had scored a brilliant century in just 36 balls against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last match. Although the team could not win the match, their batting again caught everyone’s attention.

Pujara told the plan to get Vaibhav out
This season Vaibhav has attacked big bowlers without any fear. Even against greats like Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins, he has shown aggressive style from the beginning. Now he will face Punjab Kings’ left arm fast bowler Arshdeep Singh, who has been in form again in the last few matches.

Guru Mantra given to Arshdeep
Pujara said in a conversation on Star Sports that Arshdeep should bowl over the wicket against Vaibhav. He said that Arshdeep is a left-arm seamer, so he should come over the stumps against Vaibhav. He has to bowl on the middle and off stump line, so that the ball goes away from the batsman.

He further said that Mohsin had also achieved success against Vaibhav by bowling in a similar manner, hence Arshdeep should adopt the same strategy.

Pujara also gave advice on bowling length and variations. He said that Arshdeep should bowl back of length balls on middle and off stump. Throw the ball into the same channel again and again. He also has excellent slower balls, use them. If needed, you can also throw yorkers in between.

He specifically said that Arshdeep should not give the batsman a chance to get set in the first four-five balls. It will be necessary to continuously apply pressure with the right line and length.

Now everyone’s eyes are on this exciting match, where on one side will be the young aggressive batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi, and on the other side will be Arshdeep Singh, who is equipped with swing and variety. This collision can decide the outcome of the match.
