RR vs DC, IPL 2026: Delhi Capitals have bounced back exceptionally well after three consecutive losses as they took down the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2026 game at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Having gunned down 226 convincingly, the Capitals have also scaled their highest run-chase in their history as Axar Patel and co. have moved one place to sixth in the points table.

Having won the toss at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, Riyan Parag opted to bat first despite the venue having a history of teams being successful chasing. Mitchell Starc and Kyle Jamieson rocked the inaugural IPL champions early by dismissing Yashasvi Jaiswal (6) and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi (4), respectively, in the first two overs. Nevertheless, Riyan Parag, fresh from copping a hefty fine after a vaping controversy in Mullanpur, stood up, bring up a 32-ball fifty to rescue the Royals.
The skipper added 102 runs with Dhruv Jurel added another 53 with Ravindra Jadeja, who lasted only 14 balls for his 20. But Donovan Ferreira went hammer and tongs again, taking the likes of Starc, T Natarajan and Kuldeep Yadav to the cleaners. With 17 off the final over, the South African stayed unbeaten on 47 off only 14 deliveries to lift the Royals to an imposing 225. The Capitals had a strong start of their own as Pathum Nissanka dominated the opening partnership as he brought up a 23-ball half-century only in the sixth over of the innings. The hosts needed 9 overs to break the partnership. KL Rahul reached the milestone off only 27 balls. Nitish Rana (33) and Rahul (75) departed in back-to-back overs but the Capitals had the chase well in their control as Ashutosh Sharma and Tristan Stubbs finished it off with five balls to spare.
