Possible schedule of initial matches of IPL 2026 revealed, first clash may take place between RCB and SRH

Big news has come for the fans waiting for the 19th season of IPL 2026. BCCI is going to announce the schedule of the tournament soon and information about its starting matches has also been revealed. According to the report, the first match of this season can be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The schedule of the 19th season of the Indian Premier League 2026 is going to be released soon. BCCI can announce the schedule of IPL 2026 today i.e. on March 11 at 7 pm. This announcement can be seen live on JioHotstar and Star Sports Network.

However, this time the entire schedule of the tournament will not be released simultaneously. According to reports, keeping in mind the assembly elections to be held in Assam, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, the schedule of IPL 2026 can be announced in two phases.

BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia has also confirmed that the schedule for the first 20 days of the tournament will be released in the first phase. He said that keeping in mind the election dates, the schedule of the initial matches will be released in the next two to three days.

According to the report of Indian Express, the first match of IPL 2026 can be played on March 28 between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad in Bengaluru. After this, many exciting matches can be seen in the next few days.

  • 01 April – Lucknow Super Giants vs Delhi Capitals (Lucknow)
  • 02 April – Kolkata Knight Riders vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (Kolkata)
  • 03 April – Chennai Super Kings vs Punjab Kings (Chennai)
