Delhi: Veteran opener Rohit Sharma, who returned to the field after a long wait of 22 days, showed his attitude as soon as he came. During this innings, Rohit Sharma completed his half-century in just 27 balls. This was the fourth fastest fifty of his IPL career. The special thing was that this also became his fastest half-century against Lucknow Super Giants. Earlier, his fastest fifty came in 23 balls, which he scored against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

New personal record made against Lucknow

In this match, Rohit Sharma also recorded his highest ever individual score against Lucknow Super Giants. Earlier, his highest score against this team was 68 runs, which he made in the 2024 season. Now he left this record behind by playing an inning of 84 runs.

Rohit Sharma along with Ryan Rickleton made an important partnership of 143 runs for the first wicket. This is the fourth highest partnership for any wicket in IPL history for Mumbai Indians.
