15 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi found it difficult to show aggression, BCCI sentenced Kyle Jamieson

BCCI sentenced Kyle Jamieson?

Kyle Jamieson has now been punished for the celebration he did after dismissing Vaibhav Suryavanshi. The Kiwi pacer was found guilty of breaching Article 2.5 of the IPL Code of Conduct, which relates to “using language, actions or gestures that insult or cause an aggressive reaction to another player in a match.” For this offence, the board not only fined the players but also added demerit points to their accounts.

IPL said in a release,“Delhi Capitals bowler Kyle Jamieson has received one demerit point and a warning for breaching Level 1 of the IPL Code of Conduct for Players and Team Officials during Match No. 43 against Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.”

“The incident occurred in the second over of the first innings when, after dismissing Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Jamieson was found to be aggressively close to him, which could have caused an aggressive reaction from the batsman. Jamieson admitted the mistake and accepted the punishment given by the match referee.”

Delhi Capitals won the match by 7 wickets

In the match played between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals, the coin toss fell in favor of Riyan Parag. Where, RR captain won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, Rajasthan put 225 runs on the board at the loss of 6 wickets. But, chasing the target, Delhi team achieved the target with the loss of 3 wickets and 5 balls remaining and won by 7 wickets. With this victory, Delhi team has reached 6th position in the points table.
