The first match of IPL 2026 will be between these two teams

The first match of IPL 2026 will be played between the winning team of IPL 2025, Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Sunrisers Hyderabad. While the command of Royal Challengers Bangalore will be in the hands of Rajat Patidar, the captaincy of Sunrisers Hyderabad will be in the hands of Pat Cummins.
