IPL 2026: Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Delhi Capitals by 47 runs to achieve their fourth win in IPL 2026. Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 242 runs on the basis of Abhishek Sharma’s century. In reply, Delhi Capitals team could score only 195 runs for 9 wickets. Nitish Rana played the highest innings of 57 runs on 30 balls for Delhi Capitals. Whereas Ishan Maling took 4 wickets for Sunrisers Hyderabad. While Harsh Dubey got 1 success. Apart from this, Dilshan Madushanka and Saqib Hasan took 1 wicket each.

There was a good partnership between KL Rahul and Nitish Rana after the early fall of wickets.

KL Rahul and Pathum Nissanka started the innings of Delhi Capitals to chase the target of 243 runs given by Sunrisers Hyderabad, but Madushanka gave the first blow to Delhi by dismissing Pathum Nissanka on the personal score of 6 runs. After this, there was a partnership of 73 runs between Nitish Rana and KL Rahul, which was broken by Saqib Hasan. Rahul was out after scoring 37 runs on 23 balls.

Ishan Malinga broke the back of Delhi Capitals

After this, in the very next over, Ishan Malinga broke the back of Delhi Capitals by taking 2 wickets. Malinga dismissed Nitish Rana on the first ball of the 11th over. Rana played an innings of 57 runs in 30 balls. After this, Devir Miller was sent to the pavilion on the very next ball. Miller could not even open an account. After this, Ishan Malinga gave the fifth blow to Delhi Capitals by dismissing Stubbs. Stubbs scored 37 runs on 16 balls.

Harsh Dubey destroyed Sunrisers Hyderabad’s batting by taking 3 wickets

After this, Delhi Capitals kept losing wickets and the pace of runs started slowing down. Ashutosh Sharma was out after scoring 14 runs. Ishan Maling sent him to the pavilion. Then Sameer Rizvi became the victim of Harsh Dubey after scoring 41 runs. Captain Akshar Patel returned to the pavilion after scoring 2 runs. In this way, Delhi Capitals team could score only 195 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs and Sunrisers Hyderabad won the match by 47 runs.
