Cameron Green’s first reaction after being sold to Kolkata: Cameron Greene He has become the most expensive foreign player in the history of IPL and has been roped in by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 25.20 crores. Many predicted that Green would get a big bid, and now, as expected, it has come true. Cameron Greene celebrated the milestone. He also shared a video message for his new fans.

What’s in a video message?

By Cameron Greene A video message to KKR fans read, “KKR fans, I’m Cameron Green. This year IPLI am very much looking forward to being part of Kolkata and coming to Eden Gardens. I am looking forward to getting used to the environment there and hopefully this year will be a great year for us. see you soon Aamir KKR (I am KKR).” The video was posted by KKR’s official Instagram handle.

Cameron Green’s IPL Performance

In the last two seasons Cameron Greenehas performed exceptionally well in the IPL. In 2023 he was a key part of Mumbai Indians, while in 2024 he was seen playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore. So far he has scored a total of 707 runs in 29 matches in 28 innings at an average of 41.6 and a strike rate of 153.7. He has also scored a century and two fifties during this period. In which 62 fours and 32 sixes have been hit. He is yet to bowl in the IPL.

How have Green’s T20 stats been?

Green’s performance in T20 cricket has also been quite impressive. He has scored a total of 1334 runs in 63 T20 matches at an average of 33.35 and a strike rate of 151.07. During this period he has scored a century and eight fifties and has hit 111 fours and 63 sixes. Green has also made his mark with the ball. He has taken 28 wickets at an average of 34.42 and an economy rate of 9.05.
