The names of 3 bowlers are coming forward to replace Akashdi Deep in the Kolkata Knight Riders team. Akash Madhwal can be another option to replace Akashdeep for Kolkata Night Ride. He has previously played IPL for Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals. KKR can now bet on the left arm fast bowler. Akash has taken 23 wickets in 17 matches.
3 – Simranjeet Singh
Simarjeet Singh was not bought by any franchise in the IPL 2026 auction. Simarjeet has played for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2023 and 2024 and Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2025. He has 11 wickets in his name in 14 IPL matches. Now it can replace Akashdeep.
