1. Mike Hesson
Mike Hesson has been successful in making his place at the top of this list. He was the head coach of Punjab Kings and then, at Royal Challengers Bangalore, he took up the role of Director of Cricket. At RCB too, on an interim basis, he was the head coach. Hesson could neither make Punjab nor Bengaluru champion.
2. Trevor Bayliss
Trevor Bayliss won two titles (2012 and 2014) with Kolkata Knight Riders and also held head coaching roles for Sunrisers Hyderabad and PBKS. However, he has not been able to perform well in recent years. It will be interesting to see if any other team picks him up.
3. Ray Jennings
Ray Jennings is one of the former head coaches of IPL who never played international cricket. When RCB was at its peak with players like Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers, Jennings was the coach of the team.
4. Greg Shipperd
Greg Shipperd has also succeeded in making his place in this list. He has never played international cricket. He was one of the early coaches of IPL. He was on top for Delhi Capitals. However, he hardly got a chance after that. He has done a good job as a head coach in the Big Bash League.
