1. Virat Kohli

First of all, let’s talk about Virat Kohli, he has no competition in this matter. Kohli has scored 8661 runs in 267 matches while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore. He has been a part of this team since the beginning of IPL and has remained the backbone of the team with his consistent batting.

2. Rohit Sharma

The name of Mumbai Indians’ veteran batsman Rohit Sharma comes at second place. Rohit has scored 5876 runs in 227 matches and has made the team champion five times with his captaincy and batting. His role has been very important not only as a batsman but also as a leader.

3. Mahendra Singh Dhoni

At third place is former Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Dhoni has scored 4865 runs in 248 matches for CSK. However, as great as his statistics are, his finishing and captaincy have brought recognition to the team more than anything else.

4. Suresh Raina

At number four in this list is Suresh Raina, who is also known as ‘Mr. IPL’. Raina scored 4687 runs in 176 matches for Chennai Super Kings and pulled the team out of difficult situations on many occasions.

The name of AB de Villiers comes at number five. He scored 4491 runs in 156 matches for Royal Challengers Bangalore. De Villiers, famous for his 360 degree batting, single-handedly led the team to victory in many matches.
