The mega auction for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 have been scheduled for November 24 and 25 but they are not going to be held in Riyadh. The mega auctions will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Abady Al Johar Arena, also known as the Benchmark Arena will be the venue for the auctions.
The facilities for the franchise officials will be at Hotel Shangri-la, which is just 10 minutes away from the venue.
Since the dates fall on the first test match between India and Australia from November 22-26, some changes in the schedule had been done. According to reports, Disney Star, the broadcaster of India-Australia Test series and Indian Premier League, was keen on preventing the direct overlapping of both the events.
The Test match between India and Australia will begin at 7:50 in the morning, and the auction are going to be held in afternoon (IST), and hence the two events will not overlap with each other.
